This hunting lease is located in WMU(7M) and is located about 33 miles SE of Syracuse. The hunting lease is composed of 46 acres of woods and 38 acres of overgrown fields. Landowner would allow you to plant food plots in these fields. The lease goes uphill to about the middle of the property and then slopes back downhill. The woods that come to road is mostly hardwoods. The back end of the woods to the west border has a lot of hemlock. I jumped deer in the back NW corner. I found deer sign scattered around the property. Landowner stated there are turkey frequently on the property as well. There are quite a few Beech trees in the hardwoods. Along the road it is posted well. The landowner would allow posting the other borders. Camping and ATV use are allowed for hunting purposes only. Your camper has to be removed by end of deer season. The spot for a camper might need a little work to park. Not far away is a large State forest.
